On Monday the 6th of June we went to Siwgr a Sbeis, a bakery based in Llanrwst.
We started the evening with a lovely meal of baked potato, mixed salad, ham and quiche followed by bite size fruit flans, mocha choux and meringues filled with strawberries and cream. All prepared and baked by Siwgr a Sbeis.
After the meal we heard about how Siwgr a Sbeis started in 1989, in a small shop in Llanrwst and then expanding into further premises in Groesffordd until the business outgrew these and in 2006 a new bakery was built in Llanrwst.
The bakery has been a resounding success since it was started by the two school friends, Rhian Williams and Rhian Owen. They've won several True Taste Gold Awards for their products.
